Individual Psychotherapy
“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves”
Viktor E. Frank
First of all, these are sessions to increase self-awareness: a clearer understanding of your feelings, thoughts, behaviours, needs and desires. We aim to achieve recovery and/or increase your psychological health and general well-being,
It is based on the therapeutic relationship established with the clinical psychologist who, instead of giving advice or answers (common in relationships with friends and family), intervenes from a perspective of psychoeducation, feedback, guidance, specific psychotherapeutic strategies, among others.
Psychotherapy cannot change other people or external circumstances. The work is to promote internal changes that are then reflected in changes in your external world and in your relationships with others.
